Where We're Watching 650

JWW reviews research in the field to determine the risk of genocide of each country worldwide. In part, the degree of risk is determined by the presence or degree of seven factors that have proven to be significant in historical cases of genocide: prior genocide, risk of instability, the presence of ethnically polarized elites, exclusionary ideology, type of regime, trade openness and the presence of targets of state-led discrimination. The above map reflects the countries JWW watches for developments on the ground that could lead to genocide, and we alert our community accordingly.
