Members of Congress represent YOU. Apart from face to face interaction with them, the best way to let your representatives know where you stand on issues is to call their office. These calls do make a difference!

Take These Actions Now:

TAKE THIS ACTION - Ask Your Representative to Support Famine Relief in South Sudan

Since December 2013, South Sudan has been embroiled in a brutal civil war that has disproportionately affected the civilian population. So far 50,000 – 300,000 people have been killed, more than 2.5 million have been displaced, nearly six million people are in need of humanitarian aid and protection, and over 100,000 face starvation.

There is a Resolution in the House that is calling for USAID to designate emergency funding to help address the famine and dire food insecurity situation plaguing South Sudan.

Please ask your member of Congress to co-sponsor this Resolution, or thank them if they have already done so.

TAKE THIS ACTION - Sign Petition: Prevent Mass Atrocities

We are urging members of Congress to support legislation, appropriate funds, and adopt policies that prioritize preventing mass atrocities and violent conflict around the world.

We are seeking to garner as many signatures as we can to show our government that genocide and atrocities prevention must be made a priority.

TAKE THIS ACTION - Stand Up For Refugees!

The Trump administration, recently released a revised Executive Order on immigration and refugees. While the order is new, the intent is the same. The Order completely shuts our borders to people fleeing mass atrocities and violent conflict, and sets refugee resettlement rates to the lowest they have been since the 1980s, while the level of displacement is the highest it has been since World War II. We must not stand idly by!

You can take action. Call your representatives in the House and Senate and tell them that you oppose this decision and that you expect them to take action. Click below to be provided with contact information and talking points for your representatives.
