The conflict in eastern Congo, the deadliest in the world since World War II, is being fueled by a multi-million dollar trade in minerals that go into our electronic products from cell phones to digital cameras.

Help us show the biggest electronics companies that there is a large consumer constituency that cares that our purchases fuel this ongoing tragedy!

Companies manufacturing, retailing, or trading in materials containing tin, tantalum, tungsten, or gold that may originate in the Democratic Republic of the Congo have an obligation to ensure that they are not financing armed groups and military units or contributing to human rights abuses at any point along the supply chain.

As a consumer of these products, I call on companies to verifiably trace and audit their supply chains to ensure their products are not fueling violence in Congo. As a consumer I would purchase these products when they become available.
