Let’s hold up the world together

It has no doubt been an extraordinary year. Because of our supporters, Jewish World Watch has been able to deepen its impact, advocate, educate and provide direct aid to on-the-ground projects.  Every single dollar you gave, every moment you took to sign a petition, meet with a Congressperson, call a legislator or forward a letter, led to these successes – and we are still not done!

Over 17 years, we’ve been able to impact multiple generations, as is our obligation. We see this most vividly in the picture above of the Congo Peace School preschool children using backpacks that have been made by some of the teen mothers who went through our partner’s vocational skills training under the support of JWW several years ago.

This year, we assisted the passage of the Uyghur Human Rights Act into law. Because of you, we were able to help educate 7,000 Rohingya children who are refugees in Bangladesh. With your allyship, we supported the education of over 150 children and ensure that hundreds of victims of rape receive the treatment they need in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

The unexpected COVID-19 pandemic challenged us to pivot our work both abroad and at home. We directed emergency funding to our international partners to provide vital aid to survivors and combat the virus head-on. The Walk to End Genocide, our signature community-wide event for 15 years, was reimagined as part of a much greater effort throughout the month of November called Impact in Action. We engaged thousands of new supporters through educational panels, advocacy training, conversations with our partners, and interactive webinars. Impact in Action generated momentum and excitement for our progress.  An extra-special thank you to the sponsors including The Goldrich Family Foundation, The Stanley and Joyce Black Family Foundation and The Caruso Family Foundation.

Your steadfast support has helped JWW continue to amplify our founding intentions, as we have become the most effective voice representing the Jewish community in the anti-genocide movement. We cannot continue without you! We have 15 hours left in 2020 and must raise an additional $15,000.  Please give now!
