Take Action to Help End Atrocities in Syria

Since 2011, when the Syrian people peacefully rose up to protest decades of dictatorial leadership by the Assad family, Syrian President, Bashar al-Assad, responded in the most brutal fashion. The result of that response has been: an international war, the rise of various extremist groups, the deaths of over 400,000 individuals, and the displacement of over 14 million people.

The Caesar Syria Civilian Protection Act of 2016, H.R. 5732, seeks to stop the slaughter of the Syrian people through diplomatic and economic strategies. The Act would: apply sanctions, prohibit the transfer of arms, and support the evidence gathering and investigation into war crimes, crimes against humanity, and other human rights abuses.
