Education is life-affirming for survivors of genocide and mass atrocities to help them regain control of their lives and rebuild their communities. Our educational programs range from classes for Rohingya children in refugee camps to a school with a conflict-free curriculum in the Democratic Republic of Congo, focusing on peace and reconciliation. We also support skills training, sewing collectives and sustainable farms for women in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Education for Rohingya Survivors
75 schools within the Rohingya refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, are teaching more than 7,500 children to learn in their dialect.
Congo Peace School
The Congo Peace School provides peace-related education for children unable to afford school fees, taking them off the streets and into classrooms.
Teen Ambassador Program
Our Teen Ambassador Program (TAP) is a series of social justice workshops focusing on Leadership and Personal Development through out-of-the-box thinking games, film clips, group discussion, skill-building exercises, team-building activities and opportunities to learn from experts in the field.
Sons of Congo
Sons of Congo is a men’s mentorship program that aims to create a social change movement to protect Congolese women. It does so in a unique way — by tackling the root cause of the violence against them: the mindset of the perpetrators.
