The 2016-17 Fellows!

Jewish World Watch (JWW), a leading organization in the fight against genocide and mass atrocities, invites university sophomores, juniors, and seniors to apply for the Rabbi Harold M. Schulweis Social Justice Fellowship. With the support of JWW staff, you will learn about and promote JWW’s mission through social media, advocacy actions and fundraising.  You will also participate in the planning and implementation of on-campus JWW tabling and events. Learn to educate others, influence legislators and build the anti-genocide movement.

This is an unpaid internship but includes an all-expense paid trip (airfare, hotel, food, registration fee) to the Lemkin Summit in Washington, DC. (Fall) and the Los Angeles Genocide Prevention Summit (Spring).

The ideal candidate is:

– Concerned about social justice, human rights, and anti-genocide activism

– Eager to learn advocacy techniques, community organizing strategies and event planning basics

– Interested in promoting JWW’s mission and vision on campus and inspiring others to action
